The following terms and conditions of sale make for a binding agreement between Goodnight Sleeptight and its clients. These terms and conditions apply to all items purchased by our clients from our website.

Description of Goods
All reasonable care is taken to ensure all descriptions, sizes and prices of products appearing on the Goodnight Sleeptight website are correct at the time you place your order.

Every effort is made to keep our website up-to-date, but the information including product descriptions appearing on our website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. The price of a product is only confirmed once your order is accepted in accordance with our Order Acceptance Terms.

Quoted sizes are approximate and pictures of covers and colours are only an indication, although we make every effort to make them as accurate as possible.

Our clients own screen colour settings may cause a slight variance in colour rendition.

Product Prices
All our prices include VAT. The current rate is 17.5%.

With the exception of American Express and Diners Club we accept ALL major credit cards.

All cards presented to our system are subjected to validation checks by the card issuer. Please note all orders are payable in full before delivery.

Should your card be refused then we will be unable to deliver your goods.

Until we receive full payment will continue to own the goods and reserve the right of repossession until full payment has been made.

We will not be held liable for any delay or non-delivery of goods.

Access to our Website
Access to our website is in strict accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Orders placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions.

The right to modify or withdraw, on a temporary or permanent basis, our website or any part of our website is reserved with or without notice to you. Additionally, you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website.

Purchase of Products
All orders are subject to acceptance in accordance with our Order Acceptance Policy.

Electronic Contracting
There are technical steps required to create the contract between you and Goodnight Sleeptight and they are as follows:

You place the order for your products on the website by pressing the confirm order button at the end of the check-out process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the website.

We will send to you an order acknowledgement email, detailing the products you have ordered. Please note this does constitute an order confirmation or order acceptance from Goodnight Sleeptight.

Approximately 5 Days prior to delivery of larger items contact will be made with you to confirm/arrange delivery of your purchase. Delivery of smaller items may take place without contact being established.

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch to you of the products ordered, with the exceptions being; 1) if you have cancelled your order or 2) we have informed you that we do not accept your order.

Cancellations must be made in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Order Acceptance Policy
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Goodnight Sleeptight, will take place on the dispatch of the products ordered to you. The exceptions are:

  • Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order.
  • You have cancelled it in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
The identification of a pricing or product description error.
You do not meet the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms & Conditions.

Our Customer Services Representative will contact you regarding any problems with your order.

Refusal of Transaction
We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. To be eligible to purchase products on this website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this Website under English law you must:

  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom including postcode.
  • Kindly note PO box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable.
  • Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us.

In addition, we reserve the right to withdraw any Products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this Website.

Goodnight Sleeptight will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any Product from this Website whether or not that Product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the Website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

Authorisation of Credit/Debit Cards
By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

Every care will be taken, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure. However, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our website.

Our target delivery time for most of our product is 14/16 workings days from receipt of order. Each product carries its own estimated delivery time. Should a delay occur you will be contacted. There maybe small delivery delays at times like Bank Holidays, Christmas and Easter.

Delays maybe caused by acts of god, strikes or delays by suppliers. If we cannot keep to the estimated delivery time you will be contacted and asked to continue with the extended delivery time or we will take a cancellation and give you a full refund.

Delivery to addresses in ‘hard to get to places’ will take a little longer and you should allow a further 10 working days to quoted delivery times. Postal codes of these areas are : KW – IV – PH – PA. Delivery from Goodnight Sleeptight is free for all products on the UK mainland. We are happy to deliver to Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Scottish Islands, but these areas will incur a charge. Kindly note we do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays.

Order Procedure
The following is our procedure immediately following receipt of your order:

  1. On receipt of your order, an order acknowledgement will be sent to you by email. This will give you full details of your order. Please check all details to ensure we understand exactly your requirements. Please call 0845 130 9287 should there be any inaccuracies. Additionally, if you do not receive an acknowledgement email please call 0845 130 9287
  2. Immediately your goods are ready for dispatch, contact will be made with you to arrange delivery to your home. Smaller items will generally be dispatched without contact.
  3. Delivery of larger items (mattresses and divans etc) will be made by a two man crew experienced in delivery of furniture items. Your goods will be delivered into the room of your choice. Please be aware the crew will not assemble goods supplied by us neither will they dispose of your old items. Generally speaking, your local council will have facilities for the removal of unwanted items.

Failed Delivery Attempt
If you are not at home on the date arranged, a card will be left. This will contain a contact number so that a new date for delivery or collection can be made. We do reserve the right to recover transportation costs for collections.

Returns & Cancellation Policy

Should your goods be incorrect, faulty or damaged when delivered we will happily exchange the item or issue a full refund. We ask that any such request for customer service is made within 3 days of delivery. Please call 0845 130 9287.

If, for any other reason you are unhappy with your purchase, or change your mind and notify us within 7 working days of delivery, we will offer you a choice of an exchange or a collection and refund of the goods. We do reserve the right to recover the cost of collection. This will be deducted from the refund amount. The collection charges are as follows:

  • Single sized item - £35 per product.
  • Double sized item - £40 per product.
  • King sized item - £45 per product.
  • Super King sized item - £50 per product.

We do ask you take good care of the goods whilst in your possession. The goods must be wrapped for the return trip, preferably in the original wrappings. The supplier/haulage company will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient day for collection. As soon as we receive confirmation the goods have been collected and returned in good condition, we will issue the refund.

Should there be need to return smaller items (duvets, pillows etc) the above charges would not apply. You will need to arrange carriage/post at your expense for the return of the goods direct to Goodnight Sleeptight. Please ensure the goods are well wrapped in their original packaging. Goods will remain the responsibility of you, the customer, until they arrive back to us. Once in our possession we will issue the necessary refund, subject to condition of goods. None of the above affects your statutory rights.

5-Year Bed & Mattress Guarantee
Beds and mattresses are covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee and warranty. The standard procedure is as follows:

In the unlikely event a problem should arise during the first year, due to either faulty material or poor workmanship, they promise to replace any part or all of the product that is defective completely free of charge.

During the second year, replacement will be free of charge, but will attract a contribution to the transport costs.

In subsequent years, there would be a charge levied for the replacement of the faulty item. The charges are based on a sliding scale, the older the item, the more you would need to contribute towards the replacement. The charges are as follows:

  • 2 - 3 years (40% of the current retail price)
  • 3 - 4 years (60% of the current retail price)
  • 4 - 5 years (80% of the current retail price)

To ensure the validity of the warranty and guarantee you have certain responsibilities. Details as follows:

The mattress must be turned regularly, thereby minimising the settlement of the cushioning layers. Please follow the care label instructions. The exception is a No Turn Mattress. If the mattress is No Turn, it will be clearly specified on the label.
We will not accept items that are either soiled or un-hygienic. Therefore, please ensure that you use a mattress protector/cover from the first day of use.

The guarantee is also void if a fault results from misuse of the product. For example:

  • Use without bed linen
  • Subjecting the product to excessive wear and tear; for example jumping up and down on the bed.
  • Using the mattress with a base for which it was not designed; for example an old sprung base.
  • Overloading the drawers in the divan and causing distortion of the base.
  • Rolling or bending the mattress.
  • Products NOT covered by the 5 year guarantee/warranty such as bed frames, bedding products like duvets, pillows and headboards, are covered by a 12 month guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship.

None of the above affects your statutory rights.

Intellectual Property and Right to Use
  • You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors.
  • You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our licensors.
  • You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within the website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may (if necessary to make a purchase) download such material and content onto only one computer hard drive for such purpose. Any other use of the material and content of the website is strictly prohibited.
  • You agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

Limitation of Liability
Whilst we will use all reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. We make no warranty that the website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, and reliability of the website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your contract cancellation rights. We will not be liable, in contract, (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the conditions for:

  • Any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings).
  • Any loss of goodwill or reputation.
  • Any special or indirect losses, suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under the conditions.

Nothing in the conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our servants, agents or employees.
